About Dr. Tarun Yadav
Highly regarded psychiatrist Dr. Tarun Yadav, MBBS, M.D. (Psychiatry) is dedicated to transforming mental healthcare through empathy, strong clinical expertise, and evidence-based treatment. With over 12 years of overall medical experience, including advanced specialization in psychiatry, he possesses extensive knowledge in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions. He has trained and worked at prestigious institutions such as VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital and the Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi, where he completed his Junior Residency and Senior Residency, gaining in-depth exposure to complex psychiatric cases. He also served as an Addiction Treatment Facility Officer at Safdarjung Hospital and received specialized training from the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS, strengthening his expertise in substance use disorders.
His clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, personality and behavioral conditions, and emotional difficulties. Known for his ethical, patient-centric approach, Dr. Yadav ensures individualized care where patients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
